21st Century Desks for 21st Century Students

Help me give my students flexible, comfortable, and tech-compatible desks to optimize learning!

My Project

My students need workspaces that meet the needs of the 21st century, post-pandemic learner. I inherited a classroom with odd-shaped tables, which really limit the ways we can utilize seating to enhance learning.

My students are also forced to be physically close to each other at the tables, which is uncomfortable and even unhealthy for my Navajo students.

Covid greatly impacted the Navajo Nation, so most of the Navajo people are still wearing masks. Individual desks would allow me to spread them out and ease their concerns so they can focus on learning.

Learning looks different than it did 10 years ago. Students all have Chromebooks and these desks would accommodate them and their backpacks much better than the tables we are currently using.

I also have a lot of students who struggle with sitting all day. These desks would allow them to stand when needed.

Adjustable laptop desks would allow my students to have flexible learning stations, where they could be comfortable and safe.
