My Project
My 7th grade ELA classroom in the Bronx is a lively and interactive learning environment where I strive to make every lesson engaging and meaningful.
To further enhance our ELA learning experience, I am requesting answer buzzers for Jeopardy-style activities, a presentation clicker for the teacher, and 2 Kindle e-readers with protective cases.
The answer buzzers will transform review sessions into fun, competitive learning games, encouraging all students to participate actively. This will help reinforce key concepts and foster a collaborative spirit among my students.
The presentation clicker will allow me to seamlessly navigate through lessons, ensuring that I can engage with the class without being tethered to the front of the room. This mobility will help me maintain eye contact and interact more effectively with students, making lessons more dynamic and accessible.
The additional Kindle e-readers will expand our digital library, providing even more opportunities for students to explore a diverse range of books. These devices are crucial for differentiated instruction, especially for struggling readers who benefit from adjustable font sizes, text-to-speech features, and personalized reading experiences. The protective cases will ensure that these valuable resources are kept safe and durable, allowing them to be used by many students for years to come.
My goal is to integrate technology that enhances both engagement and learning outcomes in my classroom. By incorporating these resources, I aim to create an interactive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive, regardless of their reading level or learning style.
My students are incredibly curious and eager to learn, bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to our classroom. By supporting this project, you will be helping to create a classroom that meets their unique needs and fosters a love of learning through innovative and engaging tools.
