This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Kindergarten teacher who is getting ready for the upcoming school year. Our class is in need of essential supplies such as markers, calming corner toys, easel pads, paintbrushes, ben bag for the calming corner, laminating sheets for morning routines/work.
In Kindergarten students are learning how to navigate their emotions and therefore having the right materials in the calming corner helps them use the strategies to navigate those emotions independently.
Our school serves many newcomers and English language learners and therefore I need laminating sheets to laminate routines, easel pads for visuals, and toy kitchen items for imaginative play.
It is crucial to have materials ready to start the school year, successfully. Your donations would make a great impact in our classroom!
By providing our classroom with calming corner objects, math pouches, markers, and other essential classroom supplies, the students will have essential materials that will be used every day.
