Help me give my students a set of the Texas Library Association's 2023-24 award winning books for children aged 2 through 2nd grade. This list is known as the Texas 2 X 2.

My Project

Each year, the Texas Library Association nominates 20 books for the Texas 2 X 2 award program. 2 X 2 refers to the target age group, 2 years-old through 2nd grade.

These picture books are selected to encourage voluntary reading with our youngest students and to encourage parent involvement in reading to their children during their formative years of learning to read.

Our long term goal is to grow lifelong readers. A number of the books represent diverse characters, which will help us appeal to and represent our increasingly diverse student population.
