My Project

Please help me to support my students by creating a cozy and comfortable classroom environment for them to learn. As I enter my fifth year as a classroom teacher I have become increasingly aware of the ways that flexible seating allows for students to better learn. The ability to take a carpet square or a seat in the carpeted library to work independently and free of distractions (while also comfortable) makes a world of a difference! A break space with a sensory wall and fidgets is also helpful for cool-down moments! My classroom also has only computer headphones that are 15+ years old - as technology becomes an increasingly prevalent component in teaching and learning this is an essential classroom material that some students cannot afford to bring from home.
