Create the opportunity for technological advancement in our entire school! Science, 7th grade, high-need St. Louis

Using technology in lessons is a must, but our school has limited technology resources. Few classrooms have more than 2 or 3 student computers, if that. We as teachers are trying to create lessons that incorporate technology, but it is difficult with limited resources and full classes.

While we may not be able to put student computers in each classroom, we are hoping to create a computer lab that all classes can visit. There is equipment available that can turn 1 computer into 2. This will allow us to make twice as much impact with the computers we have! Teachers can use electronic and online learning in numerous ways. Aside from learning technological and computer skills that are so basic today, teachers can use interactive online and electronic lessons. For example, science teachers can use simulations of labs they may not have the resources for. This equipment is a great way to build off of the resources we have to meet the needs in our school!

You can open so many doors for each and every one of the students in our school!! Each class can benefit from the computer lab we could create with this equipment!
