My Project
My students love to use educational manipulatives, games and activities to learn! As a first year teacher the items I am able to provide them is limited. I would love to have more variety to offer my students in order to stimulate their interest and keep them intrigued. Learning in Kindergarten is more successful when it is hands on and play based.
As a first year teacher I have a disadvantage of not having a fully established classroom and therefore so do my students. Unfortunately, a lot of play based items are expensive and it takes many teachers years to accumulate a well stocked classroom. This would provide me with a wonderful start and allow me to offer my students activities that the would not otherwise have in my classroom.
