Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of the items are things that I usually buy. Kids need fuel and food for their brains. If students are hungry in class, I like to provide snacks for them. I have a prize bin as well to reward exemplar behavior that I usually refill on my own. Also on the list are regular classroom supplies that I've run out of like laminating sheets and binder clips.
I have an ICT classroom where I have general education students, English language learners, and students with individualized learning plans that all deserve supports and rewards.
These students put in so much effort I think rewards, incentives, food, and classroom supplies are the bare minimum and to my students are high rewards.
