My Students

Our 1st grade class is made up 20 curious, kind, diverse, and excited young learners in the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada. My students are thrilled to be back to learning in person and love being around their peers daily.

My Project

Headphones are used daily in our first grade classroom while students work on learning activities. Currently, we do not have enough headphones for our entire class. The first graders will be thrilled to finally have a full class set of headphones.

An iPad that can be used at a new learning center will engage our first grade techies!

In our class students go to centers for math and reading daily. We will be able to create a new learning center for technology if we receive an iPad. A variety of educational apps will be downloaded to work on phonics, reading, math, science, etc. Another center option that will be possible if this project is funded is a Scholastic news center!
