This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class is a 1st grade dual language class in the heart of Brooklyn. We are a Title I school which values community and each of our students as their unique bright selves, it is what makes our school special. I would like to give my students durable bags for them to go book shopping this year. With these bags, my students would put their chosen level appropriate books in their bags and take their books home. Each week they bring their books back and take another 4 books home.

Please help us fulfill this goal.
