This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is designed to help first graders master the number sense challenge & have fun while doing it! Math is exciting and with the help of nuts about counting, peg number boards, and other requested resources, students will be able to discover that. I believe these games and tools will help students be able to visualize math and see how “cool” math really is. These resources also serve as a differentiation tool as it will allow students to be able to understand math from a different perspective. Not to mention, these cool gadgets will be great conversation starters for these aspiring mathematicians.
