My Project

143 Days, of the day of kindness celebrated in honor of Mr. Rogers, is a big community wide event in our area. In our school, this is the first year we are having a 143-day celebration, and we want to make it a huge success.

We want our students to engage in a celebration of themselves and also of kindness in our school community.

In this project, we have requested beads, pencil pouches, heat transfer vinyl, and rexlace. Our students want to make friendship bracelet kits to share with our local Boys and Girls Club or Children's Hospital, along with positive notes. The felt and watercolor paint will be used to paint small canvases and hang in our school bathrooms to inspire confidence in tough moments. In addition, we have requested rocks, paint, brushes, and paint markers to paint kindness rocks to go in our school garden. These will have inspiring messages on them.
