My Project

143 Day, of the day of kindness celebrated in honor of Mr. Rogers, is a big community wide event in our area. In our school, this is the first year we are having a 143-day celebration, and we want to make it a huge success.

We want our students to engage in a celebration of themselves and also of kindness in our school community.

In this project, we have requested a lot of postcards, so that each student can write a message to someone they want to appreciate, spotlight, or uplift. On our 143-day celebration, students will "mail" these at lunchtime, and we will deliver them during our finals week in homerooms, so students end the year with a positive note.
