My Students

My students are hardworking, third graders who have the ability to succeed both in and out the classroom. However, my students need additional resources to help them achieve their fullest potential. My third grade scholars live in an under-served community with limited resources. Many of my third grade scholars experience the effects of living in a crime ridden neighborhood and coming to school is a safe haven.

My scholars come to school each and every morning eager to learn; ready to face and overcome the many challenges ahead of them.

My students have a passion for learning and discovering the world around them. They love school and their teachers and would love the opportunity to keep learning in their under-served community.

My Project

With the changing aspect of our world, teaching and learning as we know it, is not the same as it was a year ago. In order to keep my students safe, they each need their individual supplies to complete work both at school and at home. These materials will ensure that students will be able to complete school work safely, by not having to share with their peers. Materials such as tape, will ensure that social distancing will be practiced in the classroom, such as positioning desks six feet apart.

These materials will give my students the opportunity to continue their learning in a safe way with their peers.
