My students come to school each day ready to learn and explore new concepts.
I have a classroom of diverse learners. At our school we have the motto "Excellence In All We Do." My students know this and my class is striving for excellence because of this.
My Project
Another motto that our school follows is "Everyone Does Everything." I am striving to get a class set of iPads so each of my students will be able to use these iPads throughout the day at the same time and allow for everyone to do everything. These iPads will be used throughout the day from students working independently on a Nearpod to be able to engage with a lesson a their own pace. Students will be able to use them during math and language arts practice stations where they will be able to record their reading and build their fluency and use Reflex Math and MobyMax to build their math fact fluency. During whole class instruction they will be able to use Kahoots! to show and practice what they know. The uses of iPads in the classroom are endless!
Becoming one iPad closer to 1:1 will benefit my classroom so much.
I have already seen a boost in my students' engagement with the technology we are already using. Another iPad would boost that engagement and boost their knowledge. When using technology like iPads students can work at their own level and show so much growth and progress.
