i teach in a Title I school where 100% of students receive free breakfast and over 75% of students receive free lunch. They don't have the tools for technology, exploration, and creative play at home. All of these things are vital for our youngest learners!
We Love Celebrating he 100th Day!
In kindergarten we make a huge deal out of the 100th day of school. The students have worked hard to get to this day and I want to make it exciting, fun and memorable. I include writing activities using the posters, counting activities with the bead necklaces and counting 100 gum balls for their machine, STEM activities stacking cups and bags with 100 items, and dressing up with 100th day glasses, crowns and brackets. My hope is for students to have an exciting day of educational activities while understanding being at school is important and we can celebrate their learning.
