My Project
Ever since Covid we have been trying to play ultimate catch-up by providing a 100% hands-on learning experience. We have been behind on funding more interactive art experiences. For me this would include sketching sessions using real artifacts (vs. picture reference drawings). This also includes materials for displays at art shows, something that we are trying to go back to learning how to do. My students have never done block printing before and I am excited to see their creativity shine through. I believe providing an immersive learning experience will help overall with student engagement and get them back to hands-on learning.
