it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very special, kindergarteners in a high needs area of a borough in New York. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. Most of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch and come to school every day eager to learn.
Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.
Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our classroom a joyful learning environment. Thank you!
My Project
The 100th day of school is a very big deal, especially for students in Kindergarten. We began our countdown on the first day of school, and since then have marked a day on our 100 days chart each and every day. A few months ago, it felt like an eternity and we thought we would never get there... but now it’s only just a few months away.
It is time to start planning our 100th-day celebration!
I always try and make this day extra special to help celebrate the progress and achievements my students have made since the beginning of the school year.
My goal, with the help of your generosity, is to be able to make this milestone more memorable for my Kinders. Teachers will engage students through various 100th-day activities and Read-Alouds. I am requesting headbands, prizes, posters, and many more fun activities for this day. The students will use these materials to create a 100th-day poster, make a 100th-day headband with the Jewel Gems, make a 100th-day necklace, and take pictures with our 100th-day bracelets and buttons. We are excited to reach this milestone and want the students to be proud of their hard work thus far.
