This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn daily despite the fact that most of them come to school with little or no school supplies. I focus on providing a fun and creative learning environment. My students are regular education and English as a second language learners and special education students. Most of my students live in single-parent​ homes.

I teach at a Title I school where 100 percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily.

I know I cannot change the struggles they face at home, but I can make sure their lives at school are positive, exciting, and rewarding.

My Project

The 100th day of school is fast approaching. My students have been working so hard. We are learning while social distancing. The 100th day of school is a day to celebrate. Most of our parties and celebrations have been cancelled due to COVID and being able to have crowns and capes to celebrate the 100th day of school would be awesome.

Celebrations in school is very important.

Having the 100th day of school items will help us celebrate our day. My students will decorate crowns and posters as we have our classroom parade.
