My Project
My students are SO excited to work on technology in class. However we are short two more iPads in our classroom so we don't have an iPad for each student. I know that when students have ownership over having "their own" iPad, they are more responsible when handling them. They also don't have to "miss out" on their iPad learning time. (Sometimes at this age it is hard to be adaptable and choose the iPad the next opportunity.)
This additional iPad will also help our students during Personalized Learning Time - all students have shown preference for using technology to help them learn.
This iPad will make a huge impact on students' choice and learning for years to come! The USB Chargers will help us ensure the iPads and other USB charged devices are easily charged & we wont prevent students from interacting with their learning!
Students are using QR codes to discover new learning (from teacher created videos to help with new learning, YouTube videos for quick refresh in learning before playing a game with a partner) and even using our iPads to continue to deepen our understanding of Science (using Mystery Science or teacher created Amplify Science videos).
