My Students
I work in a New York City Title I middle school where every student receives free lunch. It is a great school where some students travel from far away to be able to attend. My students are special education students, most of whom are English Language Learners. They are great kids who love to learn. My students are hardworking, curious learners who need access to various texts that will capture their interest and prepare them.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is the go-to platform created by teachers, for teachers to access the community, content, and tools they need to teach at their best. A gift card will provide my students with an abundance of ELA resources to match their individual needs. With just the click of a button, I will be able to access thousands of literacy materials to help my special education students enhance their learning experience in reading and writing. It contains a wide array of inspirational materials that my students would definitely benefit from in the classroom!
