I need a resource that will help me host PLCs (Professional Learning Communities) that will help grow teachers and allow them us to learn from one another.

My Students

My students are all from low-income households in one of the most poverty stricken areas in our county. Despite such disadvantages, they love learning and it is important that educators give them the best learning opportunities. As teachers expand their practice, we can continue to help jump start the bright future these youngsters rightfully deserve.

My Project

The PLC+ guide and the PLC Playbook are excellent resources that I will be able to use to help teachers enhance their practice. It will also be beneficial for improving students' learning environment so that they can reach their fullest potential.

Learning about PLCs and how to implement them more effectively will give me an opportunity to directly improve teaching and learning.

The PLC+ guide and playbook will give me ideas that will help promote enhanced relationships among my colleagues. They will help us stay on top of best practices and technological strategies to use in the classroom. Furthermore, the PLC+ guide and playbook will provide insight on how to reflect to continue improving my practice as an educator.
