My Students

My students are some of the most compassionate humans I have ever met in my life. I will be a first year teacher this fall and just spending internship hours with them in my future classroom has shown me how much I idolize who they are as people. They are quick to help, quick to show empathy, and so quick to better themselves & those around them. It's my favorite part about this profession and why I choose to devote my life to it.

This world needs more individuals that have that 'glass half full' perspective and can empathize with those around them, my Otterville students are exactly that.

My Project

These specific materials will allow my students access to their everyday supplies they will need during weekly lessons. Making sure students have what they need to complete the work will ensure to me that they're taken care of. I want my students to feel respected in my classroom and getting products/items for them to make sure they have the best possible resources is a huge goal of mine. I always wanted a teacher to take that extra initiative to ensure a 'better' education, so now that I have the opportunity to do that I don't ever want to take it for granted.
