Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We’re requesting a class set of durable, child-friendly headphones to support our iPad learning time. Whether students are practicing their letters, listening to a story, or playing a math game, headphones will help them stay engaged without being distracted by what's going on around them—or distracting others.
These headphones will be used daily during literacy and math stations.
They’ll allow each student to work at their own pace, hear instructions clearly, and concentrate on their individual learning path.
Many of my students are still developing their focus and self-regulation skills. With headphones, they’ll be able to block out background noise and stay centered on the task at hand. This small tool will make a big impact on their ability to learn independently and feel successful.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
