This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach biology and marine science at Berea High School. My current dilemma is that my students keep complaining that they can't see well out of their current safety glasses. The scratches and discoloration over the years have caused my students to make these complaints. It is definitely time for some new safety glasses. We do a lot of fun laboratories and I hate to think that they are not enjoying the labs as much due to poor safety glasses. If I could get a class set of new safety glasses I know my students and I would greatly appreciate it. All our dissections would be greatly enhanced. Thank you for you time and consideration!!!
