Help! We Need Classroom Supplies

My students need paper, pencils, erasers, toner, and Kleenex to keep our classroom running efficiently.

My Students

Running a classroom requires a constant flow of paper, pencils, and other basic supplies. Our school district has not been very consistent in supplying us with paper, toner, or pencils. Our supply closet is starting to run low and we need your help to replenish it.

My science scholars are 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in an under-funded urban school in Missouri.

They are a part of a math, engineering, technology, and science (METS) magnet program that focuses on project-based learning. They are excited about learning science and are motivated about becoming world-class scientists, scholars, and citizens. They have the will to succeed but they need the materials and supplies that are crucial to their success.

My Project

Many of my students' science assignments require that they conduct independent learning activities utilizing the Internet. As such, they are required to print reports, essays, and other products they have completed. Additionally, I must provide them with handouts and worksheets to help guide their independent studies and classroom activities. This presents a challenge when I do not have enough resources to provide for them. We are fortunate that we have a working printer in our classroom. However, keeping enough paper and toner on hand for all of my students is challenging. Another need we have is for basic supplies such as pencils and erasers, and with the cold and flu season around the corner, Kleenex will be much appreciated.

They are a hard-working group of students who want to excel, but lack the resources to do so. Please help my students focus on their education rather than on their basic needs.
