My students need new books masks and other materials to help them learn about their great state and Louisiana culture.

My Students
We live in the great state of Louisiana! Our state preschool curriculum has some wonderful ideas for teaching our young students about the music, culture, animals, and places in our state. Now we just need some more of the materials suggested by the curriculum!
I teach preschoolers with special needs at a public school.
We try to do activities with the 2 regular preschool classes as much as possible, so we are always looking for hands-on activities that promote language and learning new skills for all of our learners. Many of our students come from low-income families, and are not able to travel to other parts of the state.
My Project
These materials will be used by our 3 preschool classrooms during our study of Louisiana. We hope to share our love of Louisiana culture with our students by teaching them the state curriculum through many activities using these materials over several weeks.
With your support, we can teach several subject areas while helping our preschoolers get to know their great state a little better.
Then we can continue to share the resources with new students every year!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
