My students need individual learning materials such as math/language stations, multiplication centers, soft seats, and ABC beads to work in small independent groups for classroom learning.

My Students
Our teacher needs a break! Help us get materials for hands-on independent and small group learning, so we can show our teacher what we know!
My students are in 3rd grade and are learning in a Title One school in South Georgia.
They are a mix of Gifted and regular education students who bring unique qualities to the classroom. There is a hip hop dancer, a cheerleader, several children of military families, an aspiring evening news broadcaster, a future president, a writer, an actor, a singing superstar, a shy one, and a variety of other personalities.
My Project
The resources being requested will be used in small group and independent learning. This is one of the most important times during the day because it allows me to work with a small group, or with one child, who needs extra assistance with a concept. With these materials, students will be able to challenge each other and learn from each other which will help them take ownership in their own personal learning.
I am most excited about using the Rocks and Soil books to enhance our unit on Earth Science. We will use the Daily Math Station and Partner Math Games for small group time. This will allow me to work with students needing help with more specific math concepts, such as multiplication facts using the Multiplication Math Facts center.
For independent learning, students will use the Kid-Safe Clipboards and Colorful Soft Seats for mobility both inside and outside the classroom. Students will enjoy working outside of their desks and teaching each other.
I can stand up in front of class and teach all day long.
The children will soak in the information, learn the information, and be able to make the "A" on a test. However, with independent and small group learning, children can process and synthesize the learning to a while new level. Concepts that were only minimally learned by one student might be enhanced to a higher degree while working with another student in a small group.
