My Students
Do you remember getting those brand new art or school supplies and running to your room to try them all out? I can't wait to see what my students create with new pastels.
My students are creative, curious, and enthusiastic.
Many of them have worked with oil pastels in past years, but now our stock needs replacing. The kids and their parents loved the art they created using oil pastels. The students were able to learn blending and shading techniques and made amazing pictures and all of their work was proudly displayed in the school hallways.
My Project
These oil pastels will allow me to teach a new group of students how to shade and blend and how to create bold and vibrant art. We will study Australian Aboriginal art including bark paintings and Dreamtime. Students will use their knowledge of Aboriginal Art to create amazing, abstract drawings using the pastels.
Oil pastels are a medium which lends itself to easily making impressive art.
I love giving the students materials and projects with which they are sure to succeed, and this project guarantees that success. Help my students become proud artists!
