My students need student response boards with grids so we can all work on graphing together at once.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember having to make your own grids every time you made a graph? This unnecessarily wastes class time and student learning.
Our school is a community of active citizen-scholars who are always working hard in order to be prepared for life in college and beyond.
We have a longer school day than normal, arriving before 8 and staying until after 5. We also attend school on weekends and they work for over 2 hours a night on homework. Their dedication and commitment to excellence is amazing.
My Project
Student response boards are great for different activities in the classroom, from following along with a lesson to practicing techniques. They are great for saving time and reducing the amount of time wasted in class on setting up. Without them students will not be able to gain as thorough an understanding of graphs or coordinate planes.
The response boards will be able to be used every week and in almost every class throughout the year.
Since I teach four different periods of math, they will be used throughout the day and not just for an hour.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
