Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love to incorporate the use of technology in my teaching because I see how my students are more engaged in their learning. Most importantly, I am often blown away by the quality of work my students produce using computer technology. They always take what I teach them further than I could ever imagine. For the last month, my third grade students have been working tirelessly on creating their PowerPoint presentations on our theme of animal habitats. The students are eager to share their multimedia reports with other third grade students. To make this happen, we would need a SVGA Video projector so that we can project the files onto a big screen and invite other students to view them. This will be a great chance for my students to hone their presentation skills. We hope that this will get other students excited about research reports, too!
