This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Please help us share our songs with our local community and the world! We have some very hard working parents that cannot always attend our school performances. Our wonderful chorus students would like to reward their parents with this documentary project.
My students are mostly within the L.A.U.S.D.
service area. They are eager to learn about the art of music. These students all went through audition at the beginning of the year before they were chosen, so their talents are amazing and so is their commitment.
My Project
We are asking for a longer life battery and charger to extend our recording time. We are also asking for a good shotgun mic that will eliminate surrounding noise while we record. These materials will help our students to share their much invested time and effort with the public. Even though we are only in elementary, we would like to produce a product that rivals that of a professional level; good video and audio quality. This will also help our students keep a fond memory of their accomplishments in grade school.
Our project is very important to us because we never seem to have the time needed to share with everyone all the things we've learned in chorus.
In our winter and spring concerts we often need to trim down our program so it wouldn't be too long with the rest of the school's program. With the help of these equipments we would like to complete a video documentary of our class and accomplishments to share with our local community.
