We're building the next surgeon, pharmacist, nurse, cancer researcher, AIDS researcher, (you name it!)...one student at a time!!
Students with special needs should never be counted out the science experience. If you ever thought a little intervention and the right science supplies couldn't make a difference, I challenge you to read the story of Dr. Ben Carson, a special needs student who became the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital when he was just 33 years old. He is now known for his pioneering work in radical hemispherectomies — the removal of half the brain to help seizure patients — and as a specialist in the separation of conjoined (Siamese) twins.
I'm seeking a donor to purchase our plant light/shelf system. We're working with a great inquiry program that provides some supplies...but not everything. I need just a little help from you, the generous donor to provide the extras.
I thank you in advance for sharing the vision and more importantly, providing the materials to manifest it.
