FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. G.'s classroom raised $538
This project is fully funded
I am an 8th grade social studies teacher. I teach 110 students, most of whom come from low-income families.
Students learn more about social studies and history if they have the opportunity to become kinesthetically involved in the learning process. I need basic classroom supplies in order to facilitate these opportunities.
These classroom supplies will be used to complete class activities such as flip charts, collages, and story books. The story books will highlight historical events that have been studied in class. Students will be able to read these books to students in the special education classes.
Your help will make it possible for my students to become more actively involved in the learning process. More knowledge will be retained as a result of having these hands-on activities. Students will be able to build their self-esteem and public speaking skills by reading their self-made materials to other classes.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
