My students need a nice soft carpet to sit on during music time!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. C.'s classroom raised $490

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every morning, I teach preschool, kindergarten, first and second grade music. We do a lot of fun activities, and the classroom teachers tell me that their kids love coming to music class.
Though we do some activities standing up (or dancing around the room!), sometimes we need to sit. My classroom has cold, hard tile on the floor--not very comfortable!
I would love to have a big classroom carpet for my young students to sit on. These carpets are stain-resistant, and would also protect my tile from the inevitable scuffs made by wiggly kids. More importantly, it would be far more comfortable for my students.
You can help me provide my kids with a comfortable place to sit when we do circle activities in our music class. Music is a vital part of any child's education, and I want my kids to be comfortable and focused in my classroom.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
