My students need a weather station to add to our outdoor nature preserve to assist with analyzing weather trends and weather causes and effects.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. S.'s classroom raised $407
This project is fully funded
We are a fourth grade class at a high-poverty area school district with a burning desire to teach and learn outside the box.
My students and I have been looking out our windows daily and wondering why things work the way they do. They are totally fascinated by our local weather team and want the opportunity to be like them. There have been many students who have been affected by the strong storms in our area so they are motivated to learn all they can so they will be more prepared to help.
We need a weather station to help us gather data and connect our observations to measurable data and make informed predictions of current weather conditions and cause and effect relationships relating to our environment and region.
By donating to this proposal, you will provide students with the means to feel like they are making a difference in their community and their world by learning all they can about it. You may even inspire some of them to become the best future meteorologist there has ever been. These materials are paramount to getting the most learning possible by helping to integrate technology into their lives.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
