This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
You can give my students the key to unlocking the mysteries of the solar system! I teach Earth Science to sophomores and juniors. Your donation can help over 300 students!
It is difficult to teach Astronomy when the students have never seen outside their own world. Most of them have never observed the planets and other objects that we discuss in class.
This telescope will serve as an excellent resource to my students and will give them a starting point to blast off into the world of Astronomy.
You have the chance to make a difference in the lives of these students. Your help will ensure that my students get the hands-on experience that they need to fully understand what our solar system looks like.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
