I teach a variety of required and elective science courses, including biology, chemistry, physical science, and IB physics. My school is a rapidly growing high school in a small coastal community. It is difficult to keep up with the demand for supplies and materials due to the growing student population.
Labs are an essential part of the learning experience in order for my students to master the objectives in the various science courses I teach. Breakage is always an issue in labs, even though my students are very careful. Because of the large number of science classes, teachers have to share materials and we often have to omit labs when there are not enough materials.
The lab ware described in this proposal is vital lab ware that my students need in all of my science classes to complete labs that are required for them to meet objectives.
Your donation will help my students be successful in their high school science classes and make them stronger science students in their college classes as well. Your contribution to my classes will also benefit my future students for years to come.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
