My students need writing activites that are fun, inviting and inspirational. I want them to see that writing is personal and exciting.

Wow them with wonderful writing! What an exciting way to start off our new school year!

Writing has always been a challenging topic, not only for students, but teachers as well. Our district has few writing resources available for elementary students. I want to show my students that writing is fun, and what a better way with bright, colorful, thought provoking resources that will grab their attention and enhance and support their vivid imaginations.

The resources my students need are writing centered. They will be used to stir their creativity and become proud authors that are eager to show off their writing skills! I have chosen a variety of writing activities that will allow my students to take pride and ownership in their writing abilities. Students and parents will be able to track our progress throughout the school year. One of the best things about these resources is they are keepsakes. Students will be able to take home and keep all of their finished published writing pieces at the end of the year in a sturdy journal. Also, they will be able to display and share their work with classmates throughout the year.

What a difference you will be making in our writing curriculum. Your donations will provide my students with wonderful writing skills and activities that will carry over for years to come. It will be a gift that keeps on giving.
