A new 3-D printer will help our students succeed in multiple ways. As a department, we will be able to print new manipulatives for each unit to help students better conceptualize macro and micro sciences. On top of supplementing unit materials, this printer will allow us to help students with myriad of developmental disabilities. This is especially important during the current environment where students aren't able to share materials in a lab setting. There has been a tactile component of science class that has been missing with the new COVID-19 restrictions and this will help re-engage the students who desperately need the hands-on portion of class.

About my class
