Mindfulness & growth mindset are very important to the success of children. Outside influences & poor social skills can change a school day. When those changes occur I am there to offer my students coping strategies using sensory toys, yoga & mindfulness stories. Books like "I Am Peace" can help calm them down & process their emotions in a safe environment. Kinetic Beach Sand and flexible seating have helped tremendously. Story time & yoga exercises have also helped. More activities on mindfulness and CIKIShield Sensory Fidget Toys will add to the counseling toolbox of strategies to benefit these young minds.
