My middle school is a diamond in the rough. The students in the community suffer many socio-economic hardships, yet are resilient and joyful while in school. Many of my students are ELL or come from a Spanish-speaking home. It is important for these middle-school students to broaden their understanding of cultural and/or historical knowledge so that they might see past present hardships and desire future success.

About my class
