My students are in a K-5 School in Oregon. Each day, I kneel down to greet them with a handshake or hug. My students are a delightful and eclectic group of five year olds who love routine, patience, enthusiasm, independent and cooperative learning. Each week, we embrace the challenges of our literacy program, writing, and math curriculum. A pen & ink illustrator for two decades prior to teaching, I incorporate a wide variety of art into our days together. I have no qualms about breaking into song and dance whenever necessary. We end our work week with a room clean, class meeting, and a 1980's Dance Party.
