Greetings, I have been teaching for 17 years in my current district. I have taught 4th, 5th, 6th and 5th/6th split grades. Although I enjoyed teaching these grades, 5th grade is my favorite. Most of my students qualify for free lunch and come to school everyday with lots of social issues that has a tremendous impact on their education. I think it is important to teach my students not to let obstacles hinder their goals and/or dreams. Donors choose can help teach this lesson by supporting my project.
