Traditonal teaching methods have failed our students. The availability of technology allows teachers to modify, adapt and differentiate learning for each student. Google Classroom allows teachers to do just that, but the students need the technology to be able to use it. The addition of chromebooks in the classroom will allow for students to learn core content material, fill in learning gaps and learn in a way that is engaging, geared toward multi-modalities and opens the world to learners through websites, interactive learning, collaboration as well as individualization. Students will use Google Apps for Education to enhance their reading, writing and math skills, but they will also enhance their self-esteem by seeing success because they will learn in ways they never thought they would have the opportunities to participate in.
