Each student will reflect on their values and what brings them peace before painting these extremely smooth stones which we will then use, along with the rake and garden shears, to outline a mindful path within our campus. Students can also choose to participate in small group counseling where we will use the potting soil to grow and plant new life within our gardens. Taking care of the environment, spending time in nature, and observing the natural world are crucial practices for mental health and education. This project will allow our students to express their individuality in a way that unifies our community while celebrating our differences.
