Lytle Independent School District is a rural community located 20 miles south of San Antonio, Texas. With approximately 300 employees, the district meets the educational needs of our 1700+ students in grades Pre-K – 12. Largely a Hispanic and White population, 73% of our 1700+ students are Economically Disadvantaged.
As a district, we pride ourselves on our teacher’s ability to provide engaging lessons to our students. This is accomplished through a multitude of avenues including Project Based Learning and Blended Learning classrooms. Though we continually work towards ensuring our staff and students have the resources necessary to achieve this, traditional school funding cannot meet all of our teachers’ and students’ needs.
While our district exists to design learning experiences to empower students, our ability to do this will greatly improve with your assistance. Together we can provide our learning community, resources equitable to larger school districts. Through improved access to supplies, equipment, and materials, we will truly be able to Empower Today; Inspire Tomorrow.
