In my classroom, our theme is Harry Potter! My fifth-grade muggles need seating options within our classroom to make learning fun and more enjoyable! With flexible seating options, my students will be able to navigate their learning course with a seat that suits their individual preference. My goal is to use your kind donation to make my classroom's learning environment more enjoyable for students who might be punished for unsatisfactory performance because they are unable to focus in traditional style seating. In my classroom, with flexible seating, students will be able to pick a seat that meets their needs and is suitable for their own unique learning style. At this age group, children are naturally "wiggle-worms." Instead of hindering their progress, the flexible seating in my classroom will offer an outlet to get the "wiggles" out, so that students can be successful throughout our ELA (English Language Arts) classroom. Students will be able to choose from sitting on a yoga balance ball, on the floor with a lap desk, plus from the resources I already have! Your donation will help ensure that my students will enjoy their academic experience leading them to work hard and grow into passionate readers, and overall, passionate learners.
