I am particularly interested in providing books and science materials to rural schools, especially in Virginia and Pennsylvania, but I often can't resist other interesting projects!
I'd be delighted if you found one of these projects worthy of your support, or just choose another that strikes your fancy or your soul. Even the smallest donation moves a project closer to the finish line. Or just browse the projects to see the wonderful things teachers are doing in their classrooms. Their work is truly inspiring! hide
I am incredibly grateful for your generous donation that provided science lab supplies, including a fossil kit and materials for an earth density lab. These hands-on resources have brought excitement and curiosity to our classroom, making abstract science concepts tangible and engaging. My students have loved exploring the fossil kit—carefully examining and identifying each specimen while learning about Earth's history and prehistoric life. The earth density lab has allowed them to conduct experiments measuring mass and volume, helping them understand important scientific principles through real-world application. These resources have made science come alive, encouraging students to ask questions, make observations, and think critically.
When the materials first arrived, my students were thrilled and eager to dive right in. The fossil kit especially sparked a sense of wonder, as many had never seen or touched real fossils before. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it was clear that these hands-on experiences were deepening their connection to the subject matter. Currently, we are wrapping up a unit on Earth's layers and geological history, and the next step is for students to apply their knowledge by creating presentations that explain how fossils and density relate to the processes shaping our planet. Your support has truly enhanced our science curriculum and inspired a new level of engagement and learning. Thank you for making this possible!”

Nothing feels more exciting than the arrival of new books! The smell and feeling of opening them for the first time always fills me with joy. The books feature diverse genres, characters, and settings.
Most of the titles where chosen by the students adn what they wanted to read and what they were interested.
I enjoyed the chapter books that were eye opening and thought provoking. All of these books were unlike any that I had previously had in my classroom library, and I'm looking forward to being able to pair up students with these fantastic pieces of literature .”

Thank you for helping us with this project. We have made use of all of the materials. The kids love to print the 3d objects and also kids love to earn points to get one of them from our PBIS store.
We have made LED lights with our school mascot and used the sublimation paper to make tumblers with our school clubs, sports and activities. The kids have used these tumblers all year and it has drastically cut down on the need for disposable cups and helped us be much better at reusing. This has been an added benefit.
Thank you for helping us help our students!”

Thank you so much for your support of this project! My students were SO EXCITED to get their presents and their parents were really grateful too. I am so happy that I was able to give each of my students developmentally appropriate toys that were also targeted to help my students work on their IEP goals too!
I can't thank you enough for your kindness and for caring about my students and their success. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and I know my students did because of you! Thanks again!”

I apologize profusely for it taking so long for me respond with a thank you letter for your generous donation. We have been utilizing the resources daily since the beginning of the year. We have used them for so many projects, such as a biography project we completed during the first quarter, into a country project we completed after that. We are now working with all of these resources for all our Outsider's projects from a poster, to a graphic novel and finally a Newspaper project to learn how to summarize. None of this could have been possible without your generous support. Thank you so much and once again please excuse my delay in getting this letter of gratitude to you.”

My Employment Training Course has seniors enrolled that have decided to not enroll in college with necessary content that will help them be successful in the real world. They are taught how to channel their personal interests into a job that they will enjoy and make a living off of.
"The Savvy Job-Hopper's Guide to Choosing a Career", has been a blessing to the class curriculum. This fun and functional consumer guide helps students identify the best path for them. By reviewing the apples-to-apples breakdowns of ninety-nine career choices, my students have proven techniques of comparison shopping to base their decision on things that really matter, like if there's opportunity for growth or flexible hours.
Thank you so much for bringing these hands- on science resources into my 5th grade classroom. My students and I are so grateful. They are amazed at your generosity and feel very special because you took interest in their learning.
My students are using the resources to learn new sciece objectives, but also as a review to prepare for their state standardized science assessment. My students are also learning how to work cooperatively in groups and work through the engineering and scientific processes.”

Thank you so much for your time and support! Your SAT prep materials have proven to be very helpful! I love the fact that I have paper, digital, and flash cards at the ready whenever my students are feeling stressed about an upcoming retake. It takes the prep time out of it, and lets me get rolling into a targeted review very quickly.
I especially love the flash cards. They have been a great resource for remediation for students who are struggling with curriculum content. They are especially helpful with grammar review. manipulative are so hard to come by!”

Thank you, thank you and thank you! Adding the extra light to my room allows my students to read and write anywhere they decide to sit. Since I teach English, the ability to read is so important for further skill development. I have also had a number of teachers come into my room and comment on how "warm and welcoming" my room looks.
Relationships and a welcoming environment give me the opportunity to watch my students grow into independent learners. As a high school teacher, I want each of my students to be able to think critically and creatively about their environment. Since I have added the lights in the room, students are more engaged in conversation and task completion than they were prior. They are often using creative skills to complete their assignment, and need the extra light to help them see the details.
Again, thank you so much for your donation. It is very appreciated!”

I wanted to thank you so much again for your generous donations. My students absolutely love these books. In my classroom, we have what is called SEL (social-emotional learning) time. This is a time where I get to teach the students about how to get along and treat each other as well as teach them to become responsible citizens. I was already told by a colleague who teaches one of our specials classes that our class is the most kind in the school.
In reading, we always review what our learning goal is for our lesson and then I begin my read aloud. We review author, illustrator and any other text features as well. We preview the story so the students are engaged into beginning the lesson and then I begin to read. However, my students are the ones who want to read the books instead. So they like to come up to my camera and read to each other as a whole class.
All of my students are enjoying the new books. They do not like it if we have a schedule change and I need to push back our reading time a bit. That is how much they enjoy these books.”
