My Project

**My Students**

I teach an energetic and curious group of 1st and 2nd grade students who love to learn by doing.

They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique experiences to our classroom. Many of my students are visual or kinesthetic learners who thrive when they can touch, move, and experiment with their learning tools. Our classroom is a place where creativity meets critical thinking, and I’m committed to giving my students the best possible foundation in math.

**My Project**

To build strong math skills, students need more than just pencil and paper—they need hands-on experiences that help them truly understand numbers, patterns, and problem-solving. This project will provide my students with a variety of math manipulatives including base ten blocks, number lines, pattern blocks, linking cubes, and place value charts.

These tools will be used during our daily math lessons to help students visualize concepts like addition, subtraction, place value, and geometry. Manipulatives make math real—they give students the ability to model problems, test ideas, and build confidence in their skills.

By having access to these materials, my students will be more engaged, more motivated, and more successful in developing a solid understanding of foundational math concepts.
